The College Years
“Night of the Phantom
Monkeys”
By: Linear Ranger
The half moon
shown brightly, and yet eerily in the night sky over Middleton High
School. With it being a Sunday evening,
the entire building was void of life, except for one room. The room was fully lit, and the moonlight
was let in by the skylights and windows.
The room was filled with neatly organized and categorized
bookshelves. Though, the one occupant
was still working hard at finding which books were overdue, and those students
who would soon face Library Lockup. The
full sized woman concentrated hard, at the books through the thin reading
glasses, which rested on her sharp pointed nose. This hard stare was the same that struck fear into the student
population of Middleton High. The
nametag on her vest informed anyone still not knowing her name; Ms. Hatchet.
While the
Middleton High Librarian worked hard checking her ‘Hatchet Decimal System’, she
failed to notice a few fury creatures breaking in. Thanks to their ninja training, they were able to pick the lock
without making a sound. After the three
monkeys were inside, they made sure that Ms. Hatchet was still preoccupied to
notice them. The Monkey Ninjas kept on
task and moved stealthily towards the back office of the library. Ms. Hatchet continued moving down the isles
of bookshelves, still not noticing the intruders. The ninjas entered the dark office and quickly located their
target, a safe that was mounted inside the wall. The three of them became a ladder, as one got on top of the
other, and the final on top of the two.
They moved over to reach the safe, and the top Monkey Ninja quickly
began cracking the safe. Within a few
minutes, the safe combination had been successfully dialed in, and the handle
to unlock was turned. However, this
part of the mission caused an unexpected noise to be picked up by the ears of
one Ms. Hatchet.
Hatchet spun her
head quickly to the door. Though she
noticed no one was there, she was still suspicious, as she called out, in a
tone that would make anyone turn and run in horror, “The library is closed!”
Even though there was still no answer, she remained
still for a moment waiting for any sound to be made.
She was not the only living being remaining still, the three Monkey Ninjas were
perfectly still, as they feared failing their task. After a few more moments of silence, Ms Hatchet returned to
checking her books, and the Monkey Ninjas returned to taking the object out of
the safe. Once the top monkey removed
the item from the safe, they separated and started to leave. As they exited the room, they purposely let
the office door close behind them, thus causing a new noise.
Ms. Hatchet now
knew that someone was in HER library and she was fully intent on finding and
catching whoever it was. She stormed
out from around the isle of shelves, harshly saying, “THE LIBRARY IS…”
However, before
she could finish her statement, Ms. Hatchet rounded the corned, looked ahead
and saw a sight that terrified her beyond belief. This was immediately was followed by a loud, horrendous scream.
The late afternoon
sunlight was cast all across the Tri City University campus. The weather was ideal with some clouds, and
just the right hit of a cool fall breeze.
All across the college ground you could find numerous decorations. There were perfectly carved Jack-o-Lanterns
resting on steps, fake bats handing from light posts, scarecrows sitting in
benches, and fake spider webs were strung all about in every location. This was being topped off by a number of the
student body being dressed in all sorts of scary costumes. All of these were, of course, in occasion of
the event that only came once a year, All Hallows Eve, otherwise known as
Halloween.
Shortly after a
loud organ sound rang across campus, students began exiting some of the
building. The organ noise was added for
Halloween to give that extra atmosphere.
Two key students were walking out of the university’s English
building. The male was blond and was
dressed in a full Dracula costume, even wearing white face paint, though no
fake fangs were in his mouth. Walking
alongside the creature of the night was a red head wearing a stunning red
dress. The couple were none other that
Ron Stoppable and Kim Possible.
Ron swung his
backpack on and said, “That’s it for classes today, so now time for some
snackage.”
The Naked Mole Rat
popped up out of Ron’s vest pocket, wearing his own little vampire costume, and
said, “Hum Naco.”
Kim giggled and
said, “Okay, Bueno Nacho it is.”
However, as the
two were about to continue their short trip to the fast food restaurant, they
were quite rudely interrupted.
“STOP THIS EVIL!”
The shout came
from a woman, about a foot shorter than both Kim and Ron, and had to be in her
senior years. This woman had stopped
the couple dead in their tracks and had them completely confused. The lady had a clipboard with papers on it,
in her left hand, and she was raising her other hand in protest. She was wearing clothes that were clearly
out of date, and that were as plain as one could get.
“Help put a stop
to this evil day.”
Kim, Ron and Rufus
were still utterly confused as they looked at one another and then back at the
woman.
Ron asked, “Uh who
are you?”
“I am Ms.
Krowley,” the woman answered in still her pompous tone.
“And you want us
to do what,” Kim inquired.
“Simple, I want
you to help me get rid of Halloween once and for all.”
The couple, and
mole rat, jerked their heads to look at each other and then back at Ms.
Krowley, as she continued.
“Surely you don’t
like monsters and ghosts and such?”
“Well no
absolutely not,” Kim started to answer, though feeling awkward, “We don’t like
ghosts at all.”
“Well, not as a
general rule,” Ron added.
“But that’s got
nothing to do with Halloween,” Kim began, “That’s an important day, we all like
Halloween. There’s nothing wrong with
it.”
This statement
caused the elderly Ms. Krowley to become even angrier than her normal behavior
seemed.
“Nothing wrong
with kids dressing up as ghosts and monsters and demons! Letting their imaginations run rampant! Nothing wrong with that I ask you!”
This outburst had
both Kim and Ron wondering how they had ever gotten into this sitch, and more
so, how could they get out.
But luckily help
soon arrived, as a friendly familiar voice said, “Nope.”
Kim, Ron, and
Rufus looked behind Ms. Krowley to see Professor Dean standing there, in an odd
costume. He was wearing what looked to
be a robe, though very professional, all most uniform looking. It was decorated with well placed stripes, a
couple of different badges, and the bold letters of ‘S.P.D.’ Plus, in a holster, on his belt, there was a
strange Halloween Prop sword that looked to have a dog’s head at the end of the
hilt.
Dean stood there
smiling with his hands behind his back.
Ms. Krowley, none to pleased at Professor Dean’s intrusion, turned
around and spat, “You asked you?”
Then the protester
began another rant, addressing Kim and Ron, “I tell you Halloween is a menace,
it must be stopped! That’s why I’ve
come to you for help. I am the
Chairwoman of Citizens United Against Halloween and Lots of Other Stuff We
Don’t Like.”
Kim and Ron were
still very uncomfortable about being asked to help this, obviously obsessed
woman, with her completely deranged request.
They looked at Ms. Krowley, and then quickly at Professor Dean, as if
pleading for his help. Dean responded
by smiling and nodding.
“Well not to pry,”
Dean started, “And by the way you probably paid too much for that dress but
what’s all this other stuff you’re against?”
While Ms. Krowley
was peeved at Dean interrupted her, she still answered, “All comics, most
television, toys, many books, but mostly Halloween. It’s fantasy, not good for kids at all. It serves no purpose!”
Prof. Dean just
grinned, shook his head and began, “Wrong.
Magic, mystery, their important.
Halloween is part of a tradition that goes back centuries. According to legend…”
But Ms. Krowley
interrupted Dean before he could continue, “Forgot to mention we’re against
legends too. Also, books about legends,
they’re not healthy!”
Kim and Ron could
see that Dean was a bit unnerved by Ms. Krowley’s rudeness, but that soon
ended. Dean saw something out of the
corner of his eye. What he saw were
about thirty or so, young children, in full Halloween costumes, being led by
their grade school teacher. It was part
of a Trick or Treat program the University was holding for younger grade school
children.
So, Dean decided
to use this sitch to his advantage, “No Ms. Krowley, eating too many CANDYBARS
isn’t good for you either.” Dean said
the word ‘candybars’ loud enough for all the little children to hear him, and
it worked. The kids stopped and in
unison, they called out questioning, “Candybars?”
Kim and Ron had a
good idea of what was about to occur, so they slowly stepped back about ten
feet. Dean smiled widely, bent down to
come face to face with the peeved Krowley and said, “It’s especially not
healthy to hide them like that.”
This caused chaos
as the school children came running up to Ms. Krowley and all of them
screaming, “Where, where, where, where, where, where, WHERE!”
Dean stepped back
as Ms. Krowley was trying to shoo off the army of little monsters and
ghouls. He still smiled as he answered,
“It’s in her socks kids.”
The army of kids
turned into a mob as they started to almost attack Ms. Krowley in search of the
candy bars. Ms. Krowley had no choice
but to start off running as fast as her little legs to take her. All the way,
you could hear the woman saying, “No, no, get away, get away!”
Kim and Ron walked
back towards Dean, as they all watched the sight of monsters and ghosts chasing
after Krowley. Ron put the finishing
touch on the moment by yelling to the old hag, “For the record, interpret this
as a NO!”
The two students,
the Naked Mole Rat, and the Professor all shared a good laugh at the old hag
getting what she had coming. After the
laughter settled, Ron said, “What an old crow.”
“Tell me about
it,” Kim stated.
“Oh, speaking of
bird, I meant to tell you Kim, I read your paper over Poe’s ‘The Raven’. You did an excellent analysis of the work.”
“Thanks
Professor.”
“Excellent costume
Professor,” Ron stated as he looked over the very detailed suit.
Kim though was
confused, both by Dean’s costume, and the fact that Ron seemed to know what the
instructor was supposed to be.
“Why thank you
Ron, but I do have a question. I get
that you’re Dracula Ron, but Kim I’m not sure I get what you’re meant to be.”
Kim and Ron both
laughed a bit. Kim then used her right
hand to flip back some of her red hair, and reveal her neck. There in the center of her neck were two red
dots.
“I’m the one he
bit,”
Dean was a bit
taken aback at first, as he looked at Ron and said, “Ronald!”
Ron held up his
hands in defense said he said, in a frightened tone, “No, no they’re not real.”
Kim giggled at the
sight of her boyfriend and Dean, then she came to Ron’s defense, “No Professor,
it’s just Halloween face paint.”
Dean calmed back
down, “Oh, sorry my bad. Sorry Ron.”
“No big.”
“Well, I best be
going,” Dean started, “I gotta get ready for tonight’s annual Halloween
Party. You two will be there, won’t you?”
“Oh yes,” Kim
stated, “We’ll be there, Ron’s got some new costume surprise ready for
tonight. He’s been keeping it from me
for a month now.”
“Ah so I won’t be
the only one in a different costume tonight,” Dead said, “Good to know. Well, I shall see you two tonight. Goodbye.”
Dean started
walking away towards one of the parking lots.
“All right,” Ron
started fully enthused, “Now back onward to Bueno Nacho!”
So the couple
returned to their trek to get ‘snackage’.
They made their way to just about ten feet from the main doors, when the
beep of the Kimmunicator rang out. The
two teens stopped, and Kim pulled the device out of her backpack.
Kim pressed the
answer button, thus causing the young genius to appear on the screen, in his
command base style room.
“What’s the sitch
Wade,” Kim asked.
“We’ve got a break
in,” Wade answered.
Kim rolled her
eyes and said blandly, “Let me guess, a top secret lab?”
Wade grinned and
replied, “Nope, Middleton High.”
Both teens were
shocked as they asked in unison, “What?”
Wade went back to
looking at a computer monitor and said, “Yep, it seems something was stolen
from the Library last night.”
“Okay Wade, we’re
on our way,” Kim said and ended the communication link. While placing the Kimmuincator back in her backpack,
she said, “Guess it’s back to Middleton.”
“Aw man I was
soooo close,” Ron said looking at the doors of Bueno Nacho.
The school halls
of Middleton High were void of student life, due to two facts. Fact one was that it was all ready past time
for school to have been let out.
Secondly, due to the events that had transpired in the school library,
classes had been cancelled for the day, thus allowing the authorities to
investigate without interruption.
The blond vampire,
and his girlfriend strolled down the halls of their former high school. Kim was staying focused on making their way
to the library, but Ron was enjoying the idea of being free to walk the halls
without any disciplinary action. The
smell hadn’t changed that much. As they
passed by the cafeteria doors, they could still smell the stomach churning
scent of the ‘mystery meat’.
Ron made a
sickened face and said, “Yuck, yeah something’s you’ll never miss.”
“Come on Ron, we
got a scene to investigate.”
Ron turned and ran
to catch up with Kim, who had continued on about twenty more feet. Even though Ron caught back up with Kim, he
still continued looking around the halls, and then had a sudden scare. As they turned at corner, Ron glanced over
to his right and saw one of the few things that sent horror through his
body. He let a scream escape him as he
leapt back towards the wall behind him.
Kim stopped in her tracks, spun back around and prepared herself for a
fight. Though she quickly realized what
had frightened her boyfriend. Ron too
quickly noted his error. There in front
of Ron was a large poster, with the image of Mr. Steve Barkin pointing his
index finger towards whoever would read the poster. At the bottom of the poster were the words, “Rules! Know them!
Obey them! Live them!”
Ron gave a sigh as
he realized that it was not Mr. Barkin in person, but just a poster.
“May we continue
now,” Kim asked.
“Heh heh,” Ron
laughed nervously, “Sure KP.”
The two continued
walking towards the library as Ron said, “Man, I have to deal with him at
college, and yet he still finds a way to haunt me back here too.”
“Paranoid much,”
Kim said.
“The circle of
life Kim, it’s the circle of life.”
As they finally
reached the entrance doors for the library, they were met with yellow crime
scene tape and an officer guarding the entrance.
The officer looked
at the two teens and asked, “I’m sorry but this is a crime scene, I can not
allow you in.”
Kim stepped
forward a tad and said, “I’m Kim Possible, the M.P.D. called for us.”
The officer gave a
second look at Kim and said, “Oh yes, my apologizes.” He raised the yellow tape, allowing Kim to step under it and
said, “Go right ahead.”
Ron started to
follow, but was quickly stopped by the cop.
The officer lowered the tape right in front of Ron, put his hand on
Ron’s chest and said in a stern tone, “Team Possible members only sir.”
Ron was ticked as
he said, “Uh hello. I’m Ron. Ron Stoppable.”
The policeman just
said flatly, “Who?”
Though before Ron
could answer, Kim did so, “Ron Stoppable.”
The officer turned
around to see an annoyed Kim with her arms crossed.
“Ron Stoppable,
the other member of Team Possible. My
best friend, and boyfriend.”
The guard quickly
realized how thin the ice was that he was skating on. He rapidly lifted the tape and Ron walked through. Though once he was through, he did turn
back, wanting to have the final word to the cop. Before he could say anything, Kim grabbed him by the arm and
said, “Come on Count Tacula.”
The heroes entered
the library and found a couple of crime scene investigators packing up their
equipment. Behind the main librarian
counter stood a familiar face. There
was Middleton’s Chief of Police, Officer Hobble. He was making a few last notes in a small pocket sized
notebook. He finished and saw Kim and
Ron standing there looking around.
“Kim
Possible. Great to see you again,” the
chief said in his distinct accent.
Kim and Ron walked
to the counter.
“Likewise Officer
Hobble,” Kim replied.
“So what happened,”
Ron inquired as he looked around the large room, not really seeing anything out
of place.
“From what we’ve
managed to put together, last night as Ms. Hatchet was finishing up her
inventory, she heard the sound of intruders.
When she to investigate, she witnessed something that terrified her
beyond all reason.”
Kim and Ron were
both surprised that anything would be able to scare Ms. Hatchet.
“Ms. Hatchet? Terrified,” Ron asked.
“Yes,” Hobble
continued, “The janitor found her this morning in here. She was curled up in a corner, repeating the
word ‘phantoms’ over and over again.
She’s been taken to the hospital for further analysis.”
“So were looking
just for some prankster,” Kim asked, thinking that this all seemed too simple.
“I’m afraid it’s
not that simple. As we were searching
the room, we discovered that someone broke into Ms. Hatchet’s safe, located in
her office. Whatever was inside it is
gone now. All security cameras were
unable to catch any thing, and we could not find any finger prints.”
“We’ll, take a
look,” Kim said and then her and Ron went into the librarian’s office. The inside was a typical office of any
teaching staff member. A desk with a
desktop computer, desk chair, a bookcase with books, some chairs for visitors
and other various items. Though
everything in the room was neatly arranged and straight.
Kim walked over to
have a look inside the open safe, while Ron and Rufus had a look around the
room. Kim looked closely in the safe,
but failed to find any evidence of who or what could have broken in. Ron and Rufus were not having any better
luck. Rufus was scampering across the
desk and sniffing for any scent he could lock onto.
“Nothing here,”
Kim stated as she backed away to just stare at the safe.
Rufus finished his
check of the desk, looked up at Ron and shrugged.
“Same here,” Ron
added.
Rufus jumped back
onto Ron’s shoulder, and the two then joined Kim in gazing at the safe.
“I can’t figure
it,” Kim said as she gazed forward.
Just then Rufus
began to get a fait scent, and pointed his nose to the air to try and get a
better smell.
Both Kim and Ron
noticed this, “Ya gotta something buddy.”
Rufus continued to
sniff and then motioned for Ron to go near the safe. Ron did so and within a few seconds, Rufus was able to get the
smell he needed.
“Monkeys,” Rufus
squeaked.
Ron and Kim looked
at each other, “Monkey Ninjas.”
Ron knew what to
do. He stepped aside, allowing Kim to
approach the open safe once more. He
took the Kimmunicator out of his vest pocket and handed it to Kim. He had been carrying the device for Kim,
since they left their backpacks in the car.
Kim held up the Kimmuicator, pressed the call button, and Wade soon
appeared on the oval screen.
“Wade I need you
to scan this safe and see what you come up with,” Kim stated.
“Gottcha,” Wade
answered and went to work hitting keys on his control panels. Soon the scanning device at the top of the
Kimmuincator released a green scanning grid that swept over the inside of the
cubical area of the safe. After a
minute or so, the scan ceased and Wade’s image returned to the Kimmicator
screen.
“Well,” Kim asked.
“Nothing,” Wade
said in a surprised tone as he looked over the readings report.
“Nothing,” Ron
asked.
“Nothing at all.”
“Try again Wade,
there’s gotta be something,” Kim said.
“I’ll open up more
search fields and see it that results in anything.”
Again, the hand
held device scanned the insides of the storage box, but this time the results
turned out different. As Wade
reappeared, he looked very confused.
“Anything this
time Wade,” Kim inquired.
“I think so, but
this can’t be right.”
“What is it,” Ron
asked.
“Well, I’m picking
up Psycho Kinetic Energy readings for some reason.”
Kim and Ron both
had deeply confused looks.
“Psycho Ka whos
its,” Ron asked.
“Psycho Kinetic
Engery, also known as P.K.E.s. It means
there are signs of supernatural powers, or in simple terms, ghosts.”
“Come on Wade, it
may be Halloween, but ghosts locked in a safe,” Kim asked a bit skeptical.
“Sorry guys but
I’ve triple checked these readings, and that’s what they’ve come up with.”
Kim turned her
head and called, “Officer Hobble.”
The policeman soon
entered the office and asked, “Yes, Miss Possible.”
“Is there any
record of what Ms. Hatchet had stored in this safe,” Kim asked.
Officer Hobble
pulled out his notepad and began flipping through the pages. Seconds later he said, “Ah yes, she only
cataloged it as ‘Evil Monkey Text’.”
The team then knew
what they were up against. They
remembered months ago when Ron had returned Kim’s ‘A Brief History of Cheese’
book, but accidentally turned in the Phantom Monkey Text he had gotten away
from Monkey Fist.
“The Phantom
Monkeys,” both Kim and Ron said together.
Kim looked back to
the Kimmuicator screen and said, “Wade we need you to start scanning the Tri
City area for any similar P.K.E. readings from those you got from the safe.”
“All ready on it
guys. When I’m able to lock down on
something, I’ll let you know.”
“Thanks Wade.”
With that Kim
ended the link and handed the Kimmunicator back to Ron. He put the device back in his pocket.
“Phantom Monkeys,”
Officer Hobble asked in a confused tone.
“Long story,” Kim
answered, “Thank you calling us Officer Hobble.”
“Thank you Miss
Possible. I believe I should leave the
rest of this up to you two.”
The officer then
turned and left the office, leaving the two teen heroes staring at the empty
safe.
“I guess all we
can do now is wait,” Kim stated.
“Yeah, but on the
bright side, we can get back in time to get changed and make it to the
Halloween Party.”
Kim smiled as she
realized how much Ron had matured. He
used to fear Monkey Fist and his Ninjas, and yet now, she saw that confidence
she always knew Ron had. There was no
fear of what Monkey Fist might have in store, instead, he was care free and
just wanted to have fun at the party.
“You’re right,
let’s jet,” Kim said.
It was drawing
close to dusk. The sun was on the
western horizon and began to give a haunting feel to the abandoned
structure. In its time, the home must have
been a gorgeous mansion, but time had been none to kind to it. The front gates were rusted, the once
perfect lawn was now a sea of tall weeds, and the paint on the structure was
not faded and chipped.
However, it was
not the outside of the house that should have been causing fear. Instead it was the occupants inside and what
was about to occur. Inside the mansion
there was a ballroom that could have held many a magnificent party. But a different party was about to
begin.
The only light in
the large ballroom came from various scattered candles. In the center of the room lay a monkey
marker. This was of a different monkey
than that Lord Fist had at his castle.
This once did not seem to have any legs, but one could still tell it was
a monkey, by the shape of the head and the forms of the hands. Gathered around the emblem, in a circle,
were the entire army of Monkey Ninjas; all twenty of them.
The Monkey Master
soon stepped forward from the shadows, the stolen Phantom Monkey Text in his
hands, and the Monkey Crown on his head.
The ninjas spread out, creating a wide circle and allowing Monkey Fist
entrance onto the emblem. Fist walked
into the center of the emblem, held the text straight out in front of him and
then release it. Though, instead of the
natural force of gravity taking over and sending the book to the floor, the
object remained floating there in place.
Even more frightening was the fact that the book was beginning to glow
green and black.
Monkey Fist craned
his neck back and gazed up to the skylight.
He could see the clouds beginning to turn a shade of sunset orange.
“It is time,” he
said to his Monkey Ninja Army.
The ninjas
acknowledged the statement of their master by bowing and then assuming combat
ready positions. Fist returned his gaze
to the now fully glowing text. He held
out his open right hand above the hovering book and said, “Let the dawn of the
Phantom Monkeys Begin!”
With those words,
the enchanted text began reacting. The
book sprang open and began spinning around in place widely. All the while the pages of the books could
be heard being flipped and turned rapidly, though no seen force was doing
this. Within mere moments, the book
began firing out reddish pink energy beams.
These blasts, one by one, started striking the surrounding Monkey
Ninjas. After a beam had struck every
ninja, all of them were glowing in the pink color. It was then that they Monkey Ninjas were transformed from normal
Monkey Ninjas, to that of the Phantom Monkey warriors. Each Phantom Monkey then looked at their
leader. He wore a broad smile, as he
knew his plans were going without failure.
But now it was his time as well.
Fist looked at the
book, stretched his hands out and said, “Mystic Monkey Powers, empower me with
the spirits of the Phantom Monkey King!”
Again, the mystic
book reacted to the command given. It
no longer spun, but separated the pages to where the book was open at the
center. A green and black glowing beam
shot out and struck Monkey Fist and sent him into the air. Though he did not come back down, instead
the beam enveloped the Monkey Master in a green and black orb. Mystical Phantom Monkey energizes continued
surging from the book and into the orb as it hovered in the air. All the Phantom Monkeys now awaited the
process to finish, as they all stared up.
With one final
burst of power, the text finished its part, closed and lowered itself back to
the ground. The last bolt of energy
went to the orb. The glowing sphere
soon began to dissipate. This soon
revealed a new warrior, one of which had not been seen for centuries. All the Phantom Monkeys, while hovering in
place, still bowed to their master. The
new fighter opened his now green and black eyes. Words then rang throughout the entire structure, “At last, I am
free!”
The dorm room was
lit by the ceiling fan lights, as well as some remain sunlight as the sun drew
to an end for the day. The teens were
now back in their normal clothes. The blond
had washed the white face paint off and was busy removing object from a rather
large cardboard box, and then placing them onto his neatly made bed. Kim was standing, a few feet from Ron’s
bed. She was covering her eyes with her
right hand, and the other was on her left hip.
The red head was leaning a bit to the left and was tapping her right
foot. This was in part due to Kim’s
impatience, since she wanted to see the surprise Ron had planned for their new
Halloween costumes. Though the foot
taping was also a bit playful, hoping that Ron would notice she was anxious
about the costumes.
While Kim couldn’t
see what Ron was doing, she could hear him.
He managed to make out that Ron had gotten some items from his
closet. She did hear Ron then rip into
a box and start pulling out some objects.
They had to have been packed very carefully, due to the fact that the
sound of packing peanuts falling out could be heard, as well as the popping
noises of bubble wrap.
All the unpacking
sounds continued for a few minutes and then stopped. Kim heard Ron move the box out of the way. After a few seconds of silence, Kim asked,
“Can I look yet.”
Ron stood back a
bit to look at everything he had laid out on his bed. He looked over to his right shoulder, where Rufus gave his
approval via a thumbs up. Ron turned
his head to Kim and said, “Okay KP, open your eyes.”
Kim lowered her
hand, opened her eyes and had a rush of feelings go through her, as she saw
what lay before her. Spread out on the
bed were two complete sets. First in
the sets were tan flight suits, with nametags stating each teen’s last
name. Next were the key pieces to the
costumes. There were two small
rectangular boxes, with cable like cords that went to foot pedal devices. Then were two small hand held devices that
had antennae, a view screen, and adjustment knobs. However, the focal objects were the two backpack like
objects. These items were very large
and extremely detailed in their design.
At the bottom of the two backpack items, were hoses that led, and
connected, to a wand like firing apparatus.
“We’re going as
GHOSTBUSTERS,” Ron exclaimed, with childhood excitement in his voice.
Kim stood there in
surprise. It wasn’t a bad surprise; in
fact she was really quite pleased at Ron’s decision. It was obvious from the entire layout before her, that her
boyfriend had put forth a good deal of time, effort and planning into these
costumes. Though Kim was confused as to
how Ron, by himself, could have made all the parts for the costumes, without
her ever finding out.
Ron could see that
Kim had some confusion on her face, so he kicked in with explanations.
“I ordered the
jumpsuits online and had my grandma make the name tags for us. I sowed them onto the suits. Then I went looking online for blueprints on
the Ghost Traps, P.K.E. Meters, oh hey that’s where I’d heard P.K.E., and
Proton Packs. After I had the plans, I
e-mailed your brothers and asked them to make them as real as possible.”
Kim stared at Ron,
because knowing her brothers, they would try and make the props as real as
possible!
A month or so back,
the twin Possibles were standing at the dinner table. They had tons of electrical components, wires, nuts & bolts,
casings, and so much more laid out before them.
Jim and Tim both
looked over the blueprints and the checklists.
They looked over the arrangement and then realized that they wanted
something more. Just then, Mrs.
Possible came walking through, stopped and looked at what her sons were trying
to create now.
“Boys,” Mrs.
Possible said in a stern tone.
“It’s okay mom,”
Jim started.
“We’re making
Halloween Props,” Tim added.
“For Ron and Kim’s
Halloween costumes,” the twins finished together.
Their mother’s
face relaxed a bit as she said, “Okay, so long as they are just props.” She then started back on her way to the
kitchen.
“Well actually, we
were wondering” Jim began.
“If we could
borrow some of dad’s,” Tim started but was soon interrupted.
Even though Mrs.
Possible was in the kitchen, she still knew what was coming next, “No
boys. I told you before, NO FUSION
EXPERIMENTS.”
“Ah mom,” the
twins whined a bit.
“But Ron said,”
Jim started.
“That he wanted
them,” Tim added.
“As real as
possible,” Jim and Tim finished.
“No boys, no
nuclear accelerators are going to be made in my house.”
The brothers
looked at each, both thinking the same thought. However, their mother had the same idea come to her as well, thus
her adding, “And that goes for the garage too.”
Back in Ron’s dorm
room, Kim had relaxed a bit, knowing fully well that her mother would not allow
Jim and Tim to create real Particle Accelerators. She walked over to the bed and picked up her jumpsuit. While she was looking it over, Ron walked up
to her and asked, “So, what do you think.”
Kim smiled wide at
Ron and said, “I think you did a great job.”
Then she gave him a quick peck on the cheek.
“Booyah,” Ron
exclaimed, happy that Kim approved of his choice, and plus he always enjoyed
the kisses from his girlfriend.
The sun had set
sometime ago, and the spirit of the holiday was inn full force. This was the case inside the Tri City
University Ball Room. The large party
room was fully decorated in Halloween style.
The normal lights were replaced with orange and purple lights. A fog machine was spreading the fake mist
along the floor. There were
Jack-O-Lanterns on the floors and fake bats hanging from the ceiling. The sound system was playing a good mix of
fitting Halloween music. Not to mention
everyone attending was in full Halloween costumes. Some of the students were dancing to the music, while others were
just hanging out with their friends.
The entrance doors
opened and Kim and Ron walked in, in unison.
Both had on their full Ghostbuster Costumes. Each had on their tan flight suits, Proton Packs on their back, P.K.E.
Meters on their belts on the right and Ghost Traps on the left of their
belts. After they walked in, they stood
there a moment in awe of the great decorating work the party committee had
done.
“Nice,” Ron
commented as he looked at one of the tables filled with refreshments and
entrées.
While Kim was
looking around at the Jack-O-Lanterns and answered, “Yeah, they really did a
terrific job decorating.”
Ron though was
lost in the food as he said, “Huh? Oh
yeah the decorating is nice too.”
“Ron,” Kim said a
tad sternly but still with care.
Rufus decided to
check everything out as well. The Naked
Mole Rat jumped out of Ron’s right pocket and climbed up to Ron’s
shoulder. However, the little pet was
no longer his pink skin color, instead he was wearing a green foam like
material.
“Rufus,” Kim asked
questioningly.
Ron noticed that
it was the first time Kim had seen Rufus’ costume, so explained, “He’s Slimer.”
“Ahhh.”
As the two walked
in further taking everything in, a familiar voice called out to Kim.
“Kim hey!”
The two friends
turned to see Monique. Though for
tonight, Mon did not at all look like she normally do. She was wearing an old and faded white
dress. Her face was covered in pale
white face paint. But to top the
ensemble off, her hair went straight up and back with a slight angle. There were also white hi lights in the hair.
As Monique got to
Kim and Ron, Kim smiled and said, “Monique, I love your costume. You make a great Bride of Frankenstein.”
“Thanks, you too
look great too.”
“Well,” Kim
started, “Ron actually deserves all the credit. He came up with the idea, found the designs and had the twins
make the props.”
This comment
startled Monique, as she asked, “Your brothers made the props? Should we have the campus fire department on
stand by.”
Kim laughed a bit
and answered, “No, I’m sure mom kept them in line. These things just look nice.”
“Nice job Ron.”
“Thanks.”
“So this is the
surprise you told me you’d have for us,” Kim stated.
Monique grinned
and said, “Oh no this isn’t the surprise.”
Kim and Ron glanced
at each other, saying, “Okay.”
Mon turned her
head towards one of the tables where some of the sports jocks were talking and
called out, “Frankie!”
Then one of the
costumed sports guys departed from his meeting and walked up to the group of
friends. Sure enough, this one was
fully decked out in a complete Frankenstein suit. Though it took Kim and Ron a moment to look past the green face
paint, neck bolts, and fake forehead scar, they did finally see whom Frankie
really was.
Both of the
Ghostbusters said in astonishment, “Brick!”
Yes, standing
there, now holding hands with Monique, was none other than Brick Flag. Middleton High’s star quarterback.
“Hey guys,” the
classic movie monster said.
Kim and Ron both
darted their eyes between Monique and then Brick. Kim then smiled broadly and said, “Mon! When did this happen?”
we,” Mon answered, while smiling herself.
Ron, a bit nervous
to ask, still asked, “Uh, what happened to Bonnie.”
Brick didn’t seem
bothered at all as he calmly answered, “I just got tired of being bossed
around. She can be a real witch.”
Just then Ron
glanced over to another entrance door and saw Bonnie, and said, “Well, she
seems to fit the part well.”
The three others
looked to see what Ron was referring too.
What they saw caused them all to burst into laughter. Standing there was Bonnie Rockwaller, in
none other than a full witch costume.
“She must’ve just
flow in,” Kim added, thus causing more laughter.
After the laughing
subsided, Kim said, “I’m so happy for you two.”
“Yeah,” Ron
started to add, “Congrats.”
“Thanks
Stoppable,” Brick said as he gave, what he thought was a friendly punch to
Ron’s arm, “You too.”
Though with Ron’s
body, the punch was a bit more powerful that Brick intended it to be, thus Ron
grabbed the arm and let out a tiny, “Owie.”
“Sorry bro.”
“Well,” Mon
started, “We’re gonna go get something to drink. Ya want anything?”
“No thanks,” Kim
stated.
“Okay, well catch
you two later.”
The new couple
walked off towards one of the refreshment tables.
“I’m happy for
them,” Kim said as her friend walked off.
Ron, still rubbing
his arm said, “Happy for them, sorry for my shoulder.”
“You okay,” Kim
asked, real concern in her voice.
“Yeah, it’ll be
fine,” Ron answered, “So what do we do first?”
Before Kim could
come up with an answer, another familiar voice came from behind them saying,
“Might I recommend the apples.”
Kim and Ron turned
around, recognizing the voice, and were once again in awe of the costume they
saw. Standing there was a figure,
dressed in a full body suit, with material that looked like spandex, but
wasn’t. The suit was in black and some
areas had parts of a shade of blue/gray.
Plus, on the chest of the figure was the number one hundred, with the
two zeros being three-dimensional.
Adding to the mystery of whom the character was, was the fact that they
wore a helmet, with what looked to be small, red, diamond shaped sirens on the
sides. But one part of the suit looked
familiar was on the belt, it was the exact same saber that Professor Dean had
with him from earlier in the day.
Ron seeing the
saber said, “Professor Dean?”
The figure reached
up with his gloved hands, unsnapped the latches on the sides of the
helmet. He removed the helmet and held
it with his right hand. Sure enough,
the man behind the helmet was Professor Dean, with his kind face, brown eyes
and brown hair.
“Hi guys. You like my costume.”
Ron was amazed at
it as he said, “It’s awesome.”
Kim was a bit
confused as she asked, “You’re a…Power Ranger?”
“Correct Kim,”
Dean answered.
As Ron looked over
the, almost official looking suit, said quietly to himself, “Shadow Ranger.”
“What,” Kim asked.
“Nothing,” Ron
answered nervously.
Professor Dean
caught on was about to occur, so he decided it was time to exit.
“Well, if you’ll
excuse me, I’ve gotta go make my welcome speech. Enjoy the party.”
“Thanks Professor
Dean,” Kim said as the Power Ranger Professor walked for the podium and
microphone.
As the Professor
walked off, Kim turned to Ron, still amazed at the Ranger Suit, “What was it
you said,” she asked with a grin on her face.
Ron, again
nervous, “Oh nothing, just amazed at the detail he had in the suit.”
“Rrriiight,” Kim
said, still grinning.
Dean made it up to
the podium, sat his helmet down, took the microphone and began, “I’d like to
welcome everyone. As we gather to enjoy
All Hallows Eve. Also, thanks goes out
to our party committee for an excellent job this year in decorating. So let’s all have fun tonight and…”
Though as Dean was
about to finish his speech, a pair of loud, feminine screams interrupted
him. Everyone looked in the direction
of the screams, and what they saw truly did scare them. There were about three reddish pink ghoulish
creatures hovering there. No one knew
what these creatures were, but they could tell that they were not some
hologram. But there were two students
in the room that knew what the creatures were; they’d seen them before. Those things were Phantom Monkeys.
There was a party
table in front of the Phantom Monkeys, but not for long. One of the spirits quickly threw the table
over and let out a ghoulish monkey scream.
This was the last straw for the partygoers, they themselves screamed and
started running for places to hide.
Some started to go for the doors, but were only greeted with more
Phantom Monkeys. While Bonnie was
running for a place to hide, a Phantom Monkey flew right through her, leaving
pink, ectoplasmic residue on her. In mere
seconds, the ballroom was filled with at least twenty phantoms.
When everyone was
ducked behind something, or in a corner, there were two teens still standing
out on the floor. Kim and Ron were
standing back to back, looking at the ghost army that was slowly moving in on
them.
“Hero time,” Ron
said.
The two quickly
ditched their prop equipment, throwing it for Brick and Monique to catch in the
corner. They did, leaving Kim and Ron
in just their jumpsuits.
“Let’s go,” Kim
said, in her battle ready tone.
The two started out
and ready to fight the Phantom Monkeys, but were soon met with
disappointment. Kim went to send a
tornado kick to one of the creatures, but was very surprised to see her leg go
right through the enemy, only leaving slime on her suit. Ron had the same luck; he tried a slice with
his arm, but found the same as Kim. The
two tried time and time again, all with different moves, yet nothing
worked. They even attempted to get the
ghosts to fly into one another, but that still did not faze them. After Team Possible had tried everything in
their book, the Phantom Monkeys attacked.
They were able to fire out blasts from their ghoulish hands. The blasts hit the two, and sent them flying
into each other’s backs.
The team got back
on their feet, and regained their back-to-back position.
“This is sick and
wrong,” Ron yelled.
“We can’t hit
them, but they can hit us,” Kim said.
“We need something
else to fight with,” Ron added.
As if answering
its owner’s call, the Lotus Blade, in its necklace form, hovered out from under
Ron’s suit. It hovered in the air for a
moment and then morphed itself back into full size. Ron was surprised at the ability of the blade to answer him.
Kim smiled as she
said, “I think it heard you.”
“You think it’ll
work.”
“Only one way to
find out.”
Ron took the blade
with both hands, jumped towards a Phantom Monkey and sliced at the spirit with
the weapon. This fight attempt actually
worked. After the blade cut through the
Phantom, the evil spirit dissipated into ecto vapors and disappeared.
Ron gazed at his
weapon and said, “Wow.”
Ron quickly got
back to work, since the remaining phantoms were now none to happy about their
fallen comrade. Nine Phantom Monkeys
surrounded Ron, trying to slice at him with their slimly claws, or blast him
like before. Ron was at the top of his
game though, as he managed to jump and dodge each attack. He quickly fought back with the Lotus Blade
and started destroying the Phantom Monkeys, though they were still managing to
put up a good fight.
However, during
his battle, Ron noticed that Kim was left defenseless. All she was able to do was jump out of the
way of the attacks. Ron sliced through
a couple more Phantom Monkeys as he thought, “Kim needs help. She needs something to fight with.”
Again, as though
granting Ron’s wish, the Lotus Blade began to glow. Ron’s spiritual side took over, as he closed his eyes and raised
the blade into the air. Everyone in the
room, both human and phantom, looked at the sight unfolding. The glowing weapon suddenly replicated
itself, with the new blade putting itself in Ron’s left hand. Ron opened his eyes, and both he and Kim
said the same thing, “Whoa!”
Ron looked back
over at his girlfriend and, “KP!
Catch!”
He threw the
copied Lotus Blade at Kim, and she jumped and managed to catch it, grabbing it
by the handle. Then the two teen heroes
jumped into action and started taking care of the remaining Phantom
Monkeys. It was a sight to behold as
the two jumped and kicked through the air, while also attacking with the Lotus
Blades. With each destroyed Phantom
Monkey, more pink ecto smoke remained.
After about ten minutes, the ghouls were gone, and their mists had
dissipated.
Kim and Ron
regrouped, with Ron asking, “How?”
“We’ll figure it
out later Ron, right now we gotta find Monkey Fist before he sends more Phantom
Monkeys.”
“Right.”
They burst through
the doors and jumped on Ron’s scooter.
They both put on the helmets they had left on the bike, and then Ron
kicked on the engine. The scooter began
hovering a foot above the ground and then jetted off. Kim quickly pulled out her Kimmunicator and called Wade.
The teen genius
appeared and said, “Kim, I was just about to call. I found something on the text.”
“Wade we’ve got a
lot to tell you too,” Kim said, “The Halloween Party just got crashed by
Phantom Monkeys.”
“What!”
“Ron and I were
able to get rid of them, but we need to find Monkey Fist.”
“Gottcha. I was finally able to lock down the Psycho
Kinetic Energy readings, they’re coming from an old abandoned mansion about
five miles northwest of your.”
“On the way,” Ron
said as he turned his scooter to start through the forest area.
“What did you find
on the text Wade,” Kim asked.
“Okay, while most
all of the Mystic Monkey Monks were good and pure, there was one that had the
same goal as Monkey Fist, he wanted to use the powers for evil. Thus why the Monkey Idols were hidden in the
first place. Well, it seems that this
evil Monkey Master kept growing in power, so much so that the only way to gain
more power, was for him to merge himself with Dark Phantom Monkey Spirits. He did so and took on the name,
Phantom. The Monkey Monks were able to
defeat and imprison Phantom, his powers, and Phantom Monkeys in ancient
texts. This is why Monkey Fist wanted
the book. He must want to join powers
with Phantom Fist.”
“This is SICK and
WRONG,” Ron called out as he drove.
“No doubt,” Kim
added.
Wade then managed
to see that there seemed to be two Lotus Blades.
“Uh guys, why are
their two Lotus Blades?”
“We don’t know,”
Kim began to answer, “And what’s even stranger is that I can use the copied
one.”
“Oookkkaayy,” Wade
said, now utterly freaked.
“We’re almost
there,” Ron said as he started to see the mansion come into view, thanks to the
headlight of the scooter.
“Later Wade,” Kim
said and then ended the call.
Ron drove through
the open iron gates and to the front entrance.
The moonlight being cast down on the house gave the two teen chills as
they approached the front door. Each of
them still had their Lotus Blades in hand.
Ron looked at Kim
and asked, “Should we knock.”
She grinned as she
answered, “Yes, with out feet.”
With that, the two
kicked open the door front doors and jumped in, only to find nothing. They stood there, battle ready and swords in
hand, but nothing was there.
“Maybe we got the
wrong house,” Ron said, but before Kim could comment, the doors they had just
kicked open slammed themselves shut.
This caused Kim and Ron to jump and turn back at the doors.
For the moments
they spent looking at the doors, their true enemy entered the room.
“Ah, Team Possible
here for your final defeat.”
Kim and Ron spun
back around and saw a new evil sight.
There, hovering atop the main staircase was Monkey Fist, only not the
Monkey Fist they knew. Now he glowed an
evil green, he no longer had any legs and his hands had new ghoulish monkey
claws. But most of all, his eyes were
like black orbs with green marbles inside them.
“Monkey Fist,” Ron
spat angrily.
“Somebody got an
extreme makeover,” Kim said sarcastically.
“I am no longer
Monkey Fist you fools, I have become one with the ancient Monkey Master
Phantom. I am now PHANTOM FIST!”
“New name, same
freak,” Ron said.
Ron then started
into action as he ran up the stairs, jumped into the air, ready to strike
Phantom Fist, but was met instead with a devastating blow. As Ron was in mid air, Phantom Fist spun
around with his right arm out. His arm
grew longer and the ghoulish fist at the end of it hit Ron, thus sending him
back down and crashing to the ground.
Kim ran over to Ron, saying in worry, “Ron!”
As Kim helped her
boyfriend up, she asked, “Are you okay?”
“I’ll be fine,”
Ron answered, though still rubbing his head a bit.
“Foolish humans,
you have no idea what you are up against.
For centuries I was locked away in that text, awaiting the day that I
would be set free, to once again rule the world. I came so close months ago that was until you Ron Stoppable took
the book away. But now the both of you
shall pay for your interference.”
Phantom Fist was now
the one to start the attack; he flew towards the two and fired ecto blasts at
them. Both of them jumped in opposite
directions to avoid the fire. Then the
two jumped in unison towards the spirit, Lotus Blades in their hands, and tried
to slice him like they did the Phantom Monkeys. However, Phantom Fist showed to have a great deal more power than
his warriors, as he was able to stop their attacks with his arms. Kim and Ron had to land back on the ground,
and then try again. Though with each
attack attempt, they met the same result.
No matter what they tried, Phantom Fist was a step ahead and not only
managed to block the attacks, but send out his own attack in retaliation.
The heroes
regrouped once more, while Phantom Fist basked in his momentary glory.
Kim whispered,
“Ron I’ve got an idea. I’ll distract
Fist and you try and find that book.”
“Gottcha KP,” Ron
said without thinking.
Kim then jumped
back into battle, again fighting as hard as she could against Phantom
Fist. Then Ron realized what Kim had
said. He turned to Rufus, who had
popped out of Ron’s chest pocket and said, “But aren’t I supposed to be the
distraction.”
Rufus kicked Ron
back to reality, as he squeaked, “Find the book.”
Ron started
running around the main room they were in, trying his best to find that ancient
text. He put Rufus on the floor and
said, “Help me out spud.” The Naked
Mole Rat then too began searching as fast as he could. Meanwhile, Kim was at the top of the grand
staircase, holding off Phantom Fist as best she could. He threw blast after blast of ecto energy,
to which Kim could only block with her copied Lotus Blade. In between blasts attacks, Kim lunged at Fist
and tried again to attack with the sword.
Kim put all her force into the saber, and Fist blocked with all his
might. The two held their place there.
“So, the Lotus
Blade has now begun to show it’s true power,” Fist began, “Too bad it will not
save you or your boyfriend.”
Just as Fist had
said that, Rufus managed to find the Ancient Text. He smelled the book under the grand rug that led from the
entrance, all the way up the stairs.
Rufus whistled for Ron. The blonde
ran over, threw the rug back and found the book lying there in an embedded hole
in the wood floor.
“I found it KP,”
Ron yelled.
Ron exclamation
caused Fist to loose focus for an instant.
He turned his head around to see Ron holding the book up with his left
hand. Kim took full advantage of the
distraction. She thrust the Lotus Blade
over and to the right, and sent Phantom Fist ten feet through the air. Kim did a back flip from the top of the
stairs down to where Ron and Rufus were.
“Nice job boys,”
she said upon landing.
Both Ron and Rufus
nodded, and then Ron threw the book onto about the tenth stair. Phantom Fist started to fly towards the
book, and yelled, “NO!” But it was too
late. Kim and Ron pointed their Lotus
Blades at the book and then crossed them, creating an X. The blades together shot out a red and blue
power beam that struck the ancient text.
The glow from the blades attack was too bright of Phantom Fist to look
at. He covered his dark eyes, while
still yelling. The blast was able to
quickly dissolve the book within seconds.
When the book was gone, Phantom Fist himself could be seen to be weaker. Kim and Ron looked at the ghost and saw him
looking at his hands. Fist clenched his
fist and shouted, “You may have won this battle, but you have not seen the last
of me. We will battle another day.”
Before Kim or Ron
could jump to attack, Phantom Fist had disappeared in burst of green
smoke.
“Weird,” Ron
commented as the two of them stood there a bit confused.
Then the two Lotus
Blades floated into the air, rejoined as one, returned to the necklace state,
and placed itself back around Ron’s neck.
“Weird,” Kim
added.
Ron looked from
his necklace, over to Kim and asked, “So what now.”
Kim thought for a
moment and answered, “Well, we did manage to weaken him.”
“True.”
“It’s going to be
a while before he’s able to find another book to draw power from. So we probably ought to get back to the
university and make sure no one was hurt, and see if we can help clean
everything up.”
“Yeah, let’s jet.”
When Kim and Ron
arrived back at the University Ballroom, they were surprised to see that no one
had left at all. In fact everyone was
busy finishing up putting all the decorations back in place and fixing the room
up like nothing had ever happened.
“Wow,” Ron
commented as he and Kim looked in amazement.
Monique and Brick
saw their friends arrive and rushed over.
“Are you guys
alright,” Monique asked.
“Did you fight any
more of those freaky ghost monkeys,” Brick inquired.
“We’re fine
thanks,” Kim answered Monique.
“We’ll have to
explain everything later,” Ron added.
“Long story,” Kim
said.
“But we won,” Ron
finished with a smile.
“Wayta go
Stoppable,” Brick said with excitement, and again gave a friendly punch to
Ron’s shoulder.
Again, Ron let out
a tiny, “Owie.”
“Oh sorry dude.”
“No problem,” Ron
answered, still in the weak voice.
“Oh, here are your
props,” Brick said as he reached over and got the prop Ghostbusting equipment
from the wall.
“Thanks Brick,”
Kim stated.
“We’re just glad
you too are fine,” Monique said as Kim and Ron put their props back on.
Then Professor
Dean’s voice came back on through the speakers, “Well, that was certainly
interesting, but thanks to Team Possible, we made it through all right.”
Dean was then
interrupted by the arrogant voice of a certain witch, “All right? All right!
That…that….that THING slimed me!
You call that all right?”
Dean chuckled a
bit, and continued, “Okay, most all of us made it through all right. Now what do you say we get back to the
business of parting?”
The response was a
room filled with cheers. The professor
pressed the button to turn the light system back on and to start the music back
up. Everyone got out on the dance floor
and started grooving to the beat of the ‘Monster Mass’.
Kim and Ron danced
together, but Kim could tell something was still troubling Ron.
“Naco for your
thoughts,” Kim said with her friendly smile.
Ron looked at Kim,
smiled and said, “Sorry KP. Just
thinking about Monkey, I mean Phantom Fist.”
“I know Ron, but
we defeated him together. And when he
shows up again, we’ll defeat him again.
After all, you’re pretty good with that sword Mr. Stoopable.”
Ron’s smiled
returned to normal as he said, “You’re pretty good at being the distraction Ms.
Possible.”
Kim giggled and
said, “Thanks but don’t get use to it.”
Professor Dean’s
voice came on once more, “Now what would Halloween be without candy? So Trick or Treat everybody!”
Dean pressed a
remote control button and then thousands of candies began falling from the
ceiling. Playful screams and joyous
cheers were heard filling the ballroom as everyone was showered with candy.
Author’s Note: Well
what do think? Yes, I’ve made a major
change in the Monkey Fist storyline. I
hope you enjoyed it. This should begin
opening all kinds of new doors. I love
Halloween, it’s always been my favorite holiday and so writing this Halloween
episode was a blast. Again, no real
mushy moments, but I still loved writing all the action. Not to mention enjoying paying tribute to
one of the greatest teams ever, the Ghostbusters.
Well, I really hope you all enjoyed this episode. I’ll be back again in a month or so with the
next one.
Later everyone and…
