After seeing that
Dai Shi was still not strong enough to battle the Rangers, Carnisoar
summoned Carden & Bai Lai to do his bidding. Carden having the
power of the Crane, and Bai Lai the power of the Crow. They were
ordered to attack the city, gather the fear, and use it to create a
vortex that would rip the city from its roots.
The two monsters
did as they were ordered. They began attacking the city and
charging up the vortex with fear. The Jungle Fury Rangers quickly
arrived on the scene and began battling with the bird. However,
they were severely outmatched.
Carden & Bai
Lai then both grew giant size and flew over the city. The Rangers
tried the Jungle Pride with Elephant Power, but only had their attacks
sent back at them. With the Rangers defeated, the monsters
escaped.
They later showed
up in another part of Ocean Bluff. The Red & Yellow Rangers
showed up to fight them, while the Blue Ranger trained with Master
Swoop. As hard as they tried, the Rangers were still not match for
the bird brains. At least until the Blue Ranger arrived.
With the Power of the Jungle Fan, the Blue Ranger took it to Carden
& Bai Lai.
After being beaten
by the Blue Ranger, the monsters grew large again and were ready to
attack with the fully charged vortex. But the Rangers summoned the
Bat Zord to help them. The Bat fired it's missiles at the beasts,
and destroyed the vortex. The Jungle Pride with Bat Power was
formed and allowed the Rangers to take to the skies to fight Bai Laid
& Carden. During
the battle, Carden was knocked into a mountainside, and then Bai Lai was
destroyed with the Megazord's Swoop Attack.
Later, Carden
emerged from the rubble and vowed revenge for the destruction of his
fallen comrade.
Carden was then
given permission to attack the city and destroy the Rangers. When
he arrived in the city with the Rinshi, the Rangers responded. The
Yellow Ranger battled Carden, while the other took on the
soldiers. Carden fought hard, but was taken out by the Yellow
Ranger's Cheetah Jabs. Carden
grew, forcing the Rangers to call for the Jungle Pride Megazord.
By forming the Jungle Pride with Bat Power, the Rangers used the Wind
Tunnel and Swoop Attacks to destroy Carden for good.
