Continuing with the
line of Changers that double as Weapons, we have GekiViolet's Gong
Changer.
To begin with, the Gong Changer is a return to the standard wrist worn Changer. However, it is a bit bulky with about an 1 3/4 inches thickness. The "Gong" is done in gold chrome, and the other details really stand out with the beautiful purple paint.
In closed mode, the Gong Changer, of course, resembles the head of Gekiwolf. Once switched on, this changer is also ready to be used as a weapon. It has a motion sensor inside of it, so when you mode or punch your fist a punching sound is made.
To open the changer, simply open the wolf's mouth. Now we can clearly see the gong and the lights for the changer. To activate the henshin, simply ring the gong by pressing and releasing the wolf's right ear. GekiViolet's henshin sounds occur with this. Then to use this mode as a weapon, press the black button located between the two light up areas. The Gong Changer will start the charging sound. Once you punch your fist, Gekiwolf will howl, a blast sound occurs and a fighting gong rings.
Overall, Gong Changer is kind of a let down. The bulkyness of it really doesn't help matters. Yes, the design is nice, and the paint is great, but the playability of it isn't anything like the Gekichangers. So I'd say for the completest Gekiranger collector it's a good buy, but for those on the fence about it, you may just want to skip this one.
