Linear Review
Yes, Linear Ranger's
first Jungle Fury Toy Review and it's the Deluxe Jungle Pride Megazord.
But not only that, Bandai America learned their lesson! They have returned
to the Japanese Moulds for the Deluxe Megazords!!! Let the celebration
begin, well celebrate after you read the review, but then CELEBRATE!
Okay, let's begin by going over the individual Zords themselves. The Red Tiger Zord, being the largest of the group, has great detailing and looks wonderful. It contains the battery compartment on its back (requires two AA batteries). The Jaguar & Cheetah Zords are the same size, and again look outstanding with great details. The Jaguar Zord has, for some reason I'm still not sure of, a visor over his eyes. All three Zords are NOT missing one speck of paint. They all look great and while not having that much poseability to them, are still wonderful toys alone.
Morphing the three Zords to the Jungle Pride Megazord is really simple. Just a few twists and turns on each Zord, connect them together and ta-da. Once in Megazord Mode, this is where the Battery Operated Features come into play. First turn the switch on the battery pack on, then you're ready. By pressing the button on the front of the Megazord, and holding onto the lower part of it, the top half will spin around. Next, you can hold the upper part of the body, press the button on the back of the Megazord and watch the lower half spin. These are moves the Megazord will do in the show.
The Deluxe Jungle Pride Megazord stands just about 11 Inches Tall and looks very nice. The three Zords tails can form the Staff Weapon for the Megazord. It doesn't have that much poseability to it, but it still looks great in the poses you can put it in. For only a three Zord Megazord Formation, it looks very powerful, and with all the colors, it really stands out. The only part that is different in Jungle Pride than his Japanese Counterpart, is that there is no light feature. Plus there's a quality control stamp on the underside of the Red Tiger Zord. Other that than, yes we got the exact same toy as the Japanese did.
Overall, this Deluxe Megazord is E-X-C-E-L-L-E-N-T. I really didn't know if I would be that into this Megazord, from just looking at Japanese pictures and reviews, but I'm glad I was wrong. The spinning action is a nice feature for it. Again, I cannot thank Bandai America enough for not only returning to the Japanese Moulds for Deluxe Megazords, but also keeping all the paint applications & almost all the features the same. This toy is a great kickoff for my Jungle Fury Collection, and I'm sure Kid & Collector alike will love it.
