Linear Review
Okay, so in order for Bandai America to release the Elephant, Bat & Shark Zords for Jungle Fury, they decided to create them specifically for the "Transforming Megazord" line.  This required making another Jungle Pride Megazord, but on a smaller scale.  I will say this right now, NO these Transforming Roar Max Zords DO NOT work with the Deluxe Jungle Pride Megazord.  They ONLY work with the Transforming Jungle Pride Megazord.

These Roar Max Zords are fairly decent, even though they're all slightly smaller than their Japanese Counterparts.  I'll start off with the Elephant Zord.  He's a darker shade of greenish blue.  He's missing some paint details, and doesn't have any action features to him.  His Megazord Armor Mode does look very nice and powerful.

The Bat Zord has had some changes done to him as well.  The wings aren't as moveable, especially the blades being locked in one position.  The head and legs of the bat stay in one place as well.  You still have the small missiles that can be launched from the Zord.  When combined with the Transforming Jungle Pride, it still looks okay.  The blades being in the wrong position really stands out here.  Also it looks like some paint detailing was messed up on with the helmet for the Megazord.  Plus, there aren't any pieces for the Megazord's hands to hold onto.

The Shark Zord really looks like the Zord that was shrunk the most.  He still looks all right, but the missing metallic paint hurts him.  The top fin being shorter doesn't help much either.  In his Megazord Armor mode, it looks better.  Though connecting the arm pieces can sometimes be a pain.  There aren't any handles for the Megazords hands, just pegs to place on the arms.

I still think Bandai America made a good move with concentrating heavily on the Transforming Megazord Line.  Much like the Transformers line, you have the $40 Leader Class figures for die hard collectors and big time gifts for kids, and the Voyager Class for families & collectors that are on a budget.  So now with Jungle Fury you get the Deluxe Class for collectors & big gifts for kids, and the Transforming Line for the budget minded.

I should make one more note here.  I do hope that Bandai America continues to progress the Transforming Megazord Line with Wolf, Lion & Chameleon Zords, as well as a Transforming Jungle Master Megazord.  We know there will be a Transforming Rhino Steel, so if the Zords I just mentioned are released in the Transforming Line, then I think this line of Megazords will be successful.

Overall, these Zords aren't as good as their Japanese Counterparts.  But I doubt there was any way for Bandai America to bring the Deluxe Size Auxiliary Zords to the US and keep them in an affordable price range for the average Power Rangers Fan's family.  Kids I'm sure will still love these Zords and combining them with the Transforming Jungle Pride Megazord.  Collectors will be somewhat satisfied with these.  The collector on a budget will probably be okay with them, but the Die Hard Collector (like me) of course will import the Japanese Versions.
