The Beast Morphin
Rangers are the Fall Battlized Figures, so being the Battlized Freak I am, I had
to get them.
Each Ranger comes with Beast Armor that can form it's own "Robot Mode", though it's not that impressive. The armor itself, for Tiger & Jagaur, have both of the Rangers Animal Spirits. The Red Ranger's armor has elements of both the Tiger & Gorilla, while the Blue Ranger's has elements of the Jaguar & Antelope. Of course the Wolf Ranger's Armor is just concentrated on the Wolf.
The Ranger figures themselves have only two details from the Jungle Master Mode. Those are the helmet details & the shoulder armor, though more armored. They lack elbow joints, which is the norm for Battlized Figures. The Ranger figures also have the "Color Change Button" on their chest. When you hold your thumb on the button, the button will change to an orange color, & the Jungle Fury claw scratch emblem will appear.
The Beast Morphin Battlized Armored Rangers themselves look decent. The white color scheme works well with all of the Rangers. The armor is a bit too heavy in appearance though. Where the Spring Animalized Rangers still showed some of their suit, these Beast Morphin Rangers are almost all covered by the armor. The large weapons the Rangers can hold are neat, though a bit oversized.
Upon getting the Rhino Ranger & Dai Shi figures, I'm much more pleased with these two than the first three. The Rhino Ranger's armor reminds me of a samurai design & Dai Shi's armor just looks great on him. Granted I wish it was done like his Phantom Beast King armor, but it's still cool. The Rhino Ranger by himself, without armor, looks very bland. The Dai Shi figure, for some odd reason, they gave Battle Claws to.
Overall, the Beast Morphin figures are really a toss up so far. Some will like them, others won't. I'm okay with my purchases. I think kids will enjoy having more Ranger Armored Figures. Collectors probably won't be that into these figures. For collectors & kids alike, you might want to just want to pick up the one Ranger you like best. But if you were on the fence about buying any of the Beast Morphin Figure, take a serious look at the Rhino Ranger & Dai Shi. The Beast Morphin Figures are okay for Kids & Collectors.
