Linear Review
The last addition to my Jungle Fury Collection, but not really the best toy to finish things off with.

First I need to thank Toys&Treasures.com for finding this toy for me, as all the stores in my area skipped over the last Jungle Fury weapons and went right to RPM.

Now onto the review.  To start with, this Rhino Blade weapon is drastically small.  In Morpher Mode, it measures 12 3/4 inches long from tip to tip.  Then in Blade Mode it is 12 1/2 inches long.  The area to insert your hand is very small as well.  Normally I can still hold the weapons with my adult hand, but this handle area is really only meant for kids, measuring just less than 3 inches.

Morphing between Morpher & Blade mode is very simple.  All you have to do is pull the blade back for Morpher Mode, and push & snap it back for Blade Mode.

Moving onto the sounds of the blade.  When you first switch it on you get the "Powered On" sound.  In Blade Mode, when you press the trigger, the blade clash sound activates.  When you hold the trigger, you get one blade clash and then a charging sound.  When you then release the trigger a powerful slash & explosion sound.  When you move the blade to change modes, you'll hear a locking kind of sound.  In Morpher Mode, when you press the trigger, you get the rapid fire sound, followed by explosion sound.  You can hold in on the trigger to continue the rapid fire sound.

The Hand Guard Area doesn't have any locking device, so it will just flap against your hand as you swing it.  There is no way for the Jungle Master Claw to combine with the Rhino Blade, as the area where they would connect is molded shut.  The blade also has no light features.

Overall, the Rhino Blade isn't too bad for kids.  Children will probably enjoy the Rhino Blade, since it's both the Rhino Ranger's weapon & morpher.  Collectors though will want to pass on this weapon, unless they are completest or on a very tight budget.  So it's an okay toy for kids, but a pass for collectors.  Of course with all the stores moving on to RPM toys, it may be a bit more difficult for anyone to find this toy.
