Rose is certified genius, and was attending a university in England when Mr. Hartford called for her.  While Rose knew of the legend of the Corona Aurora, she still didn't believe that Mr. Hartford could make them Power Rangers.  That was until the Guardian of the Crown assured her and the others that they were the world's only hope. 

As the Pink Ranger, Rose's hesitant attitude could hold her back a bit in battle, but when the chips were down, you could count on Rose to come up with a intelligent solution to any problem.  Though she may have been strict and by the rules, she could still let loose at times and have a fun time.  Plus, with her Genetically Enabled Invisibility, she could trip up the forces of evil.

After the final battle with Flurious was won, the Crown & Jewels returned to Sentinel Knight, and Mack given new life as a real human, Rose returned to normal life, by returning to the University to teach.
