Mack was the adventurous
type, always wanting to take part in a big exciting adventure.
So when his father found the Crown of the God and made Power Rangers
to defend it, Mack wanted in on the action. However, Mr.
Hartford's love for his son was the stronger force, in that, he did
not want to put his son in harms way. But
after taking matters into his own hands, Mack took the Red Ranger's
Overdrive Tracker and proved himself worthy of the role of Red
Ranger, not only to his father, but the other Rangers as well.
Though he may have doubted himself on occasion, his father and his team
believed in him. Mack
led the team as Red Ranger, and with his Genetically Enhanced
Super Strength, was a force to be reckoned with.
As time went
on, a mystery started surround Mack and his childhood. For
one, according to Spencer & Andrew, Mack should not have been
effected by Bad Luck. Then when Mack showed a picture of him
as a kid, he was not casting a shadow in the photograph like anyone
would normally.
Finally, when
Mack had a strange reaction to a computer virus the command center
caught, it was revealed that the Red Ranger was not a human, but an
android created by Mr. Hartford, and brought online a little over
two years ago.
Since Andrew
was always too busy with his work, he never had time for the social
dating life, so in order to have a son, he created Mack and gave him
made up memories of a childhood that never really existed.
With Mack
learning the truth, he began distancing himself from his
"Father", but remained loyal to his fellow teammates in
their quest to protect the world. Mack felt like since he
wasn't a real human, that he wasn't Andrew's son, and he was also
the one Ranger was to dispensable.
When Flurious attacked the
Hartford mansion, he threatened to destroy Mack if the others did
not give him the four other Jewels of the Crown. Though Mack
did not want them to, Andrew & the Rangers surrendered the
Jewels. Mack later asked Mr. Hartford why he did it, and
Andrew told him it's because he loved Mack. It was then that
Mack realized that it didn't matter if he wasn't a real human, that
Andrew loved him just like any father would love his son.
During the final battle
with Flurious, the crown transformed Flurious into an even more
powerful monster. Luckily, the Red Ranger was able to use his
Sentinel Ranger Mode to destroy Flurious' monster form, and free the
crown. Then, to destroy Flurious for good, Mack overloaded
himself and the Sentinel Ranger armor.
Sadly, Mack had sacrificed
himself in order to destroy Flurious. But the Sentinel Knight
appeared, with the Corona Aurora, and explained that though the
Crown holds great destructive power, it can also give life. By
placing the crown on Mack's head, Mack was not only repaired, but he
was turned into a real human being.
With all evil destroyed,
and Mack being real human, he now joins Mr. Hartford in his treasure
quests for relics and artifacts.
