| Thrax,
evil son of Rita Replusa & Lord Zedd, was imprisoned years ago, in a
Space Dumpster on the moon by the Sentinel Knight. However, since
the Knight had to use some of his own energy to do this, it left him
damaged. As the Knight grew weaker, so did his imprisonment of
Thrax. Finally, Thrax was able to break free of his prison and
journey to Earth.
Once on Earth, Thrax
gathered the four groups of villains that were in search of the Jewels
of the Corona Aurora. He laid out his plan that they all unite,
temporarily, in order to defeat the Power Rangers.
When Thrax and his Evil
Alliance attacked the Overdrive Rangers, they were too strong. The
Rangers lost the fight, and then Thrax severed the Overdrive Ranger's
connection to the Universal Morphing Grid.
With the Overdrive Rangers
out of the way, Thrax let the others search for the Jewels. What
he wanted was revenge on the Sentinel Knight. However, when the
Veteran Rangers were brought in, Thrax sent his monster Volturus to deal
with them.
Thrax later followed Mack
on his quest to find the Sword Excelsior, the only weapon capable to
destroying the Sentinel Knight, or restoring him. Thrax surprised
the powerless Mack, but the other Overdrive Rangers showed up.
Thrax tried to get Excelsior, but it was no use. The sword was
held by the Warrior Goddess statue and could only be released by her.
Failing at that task, Thrax
vowed to destroy Earth. He regrouped his alliance and prepared to
attack the city. But the Veteran Rangers & Overdrive Rangers
showed up to stop them. The damage to the Morphing Grid had been
repaired, thanks to Alpha Six, and the Rangers were ready for action.
During the all out battle,
the Black Mighty Morphin Power Ranger battled the evil Thrax. They
went back and fourth, each one having short moments of victory.
But the final blow came with the Sentinel Knight, fully restored by
Excelsior, jumped into and destroyed Thrax for good with his powerful
kick attack.
