Special Features -- Ranger Bios
--The Ranger Bios are well done, and feature all five main Rangers talking about what they did before they became a Ranger, and what they enjoy about being a Power Ranger.

Special Features -- Ranger Reserve Training Course Level 1 - The Black Jewel
After viewing the Intro Clip for the Reserve Ranger Training, you begin your training with the help of Spencer and the Rangers.  For this level you're going after the Black Jewel.  First you must answer some Power Rangers questions, then successfully locate where the Black Jewel is hidden in Flurious' Ice Cave, and finally use your safe cracking skills to unlock the safe and obtain the Black Jewel.

Linear Ranger's Rating
All of the Special Features are well done, especially since they filmed all new scenes with Spencer, Andrew and the Ranger cast.  The Ranger Bios are a bit bare boned, but nice.  The Training Course is very well done.  The trivia questions, while not really hard, are not completely easy and require knowledge of events from the show.  The other levels are somewhat challenging and fun too.

So if you enjoy Operation Overdrive, or just Power Rangers in general, you'll want to pick up Volume 1, and hopefully you'll want the remaining volumes as well.

Special Features -- Ranger Weapons
--The Ranger Weapons Overview are nicely done.  The five Rangers talk about their unique Ranger Weapons and how useful they are in combat.  Mack also briefly goes over the Overdrive Tracker.

Special Features -- Ranger Reserve Training Course Level 2 - The Yellow Jewel
After viewing the Intro Clip for the Reserve Ranger Training, you begin your training with the help of Spencer and the Rangers.  For this level you're going after the Yellow Jewel.  First you must answer some Power Rangers questions, then successfully assemble five of the Operation Overdrive Weapons, and finally you get a chance to use your skills with the Drill Blaster.  After you've succeeded in Drill Blaster Training you gain the Yellow Jewel.

Linear Ranger's Rating
The Special Features of Volume Two are better than Volume One.   Again, the trivia questions require knowledge from the episodes.  It's cool to see some of the Ranger weapons in more detail, as well as in CGI. Plus, the Drill Blaster training is a nice addition.  The continued use of newly filmed footage of the cast is great too, especially all of Spencer's scenes.

So if you enjoy Operation Overdrive, or just Power Rangers in general, you'll want to pick up Volume 2, and hopefully you'll want the remaining volumes as well.

Special Features -- Ranger Vehicles
--The Ranger Vehicles are very wells done, with another great introduction by Spencer.  Each of the five Rangers talks about their own DriveMax Zord.  Plus Mack tells you about all the features of the S.H.A.R.C.  Will, after explaining the Speed Driver, talks about how the DriveMax Megazord is formed.

Special Features -- Ranger Reserve Training Course Level 3 - The Blue Jewel
After viewing the Intro Clip for the Reserve Ranger Training, you begin your training with the help of Spencer and the Rangers.  For this level you're going after the Blue Jewel.  First you must answer some Power Rangers questions, then you get to pilot the S.H.A.R.C. on rough waters & through a nasty storm, to arrive at the island where the jewel is hidden.  When you've arrived on the island, you then use a Mercury Morpher like device to help you track down the Blue Jewel.

Linear Ranger's Rating
Again, this Power Rangers DVD lives up to my expectations.  The Bonus Features continue to add the extra flare with all the cast talking about the Zords & Vehicles.  The questions again aren't just your simple & easy questions, but ones you can only answer if you've watched Operation Overdrive.  The Jewel hunt this time is a bit more challenging, as you try and pilot the S.H.A.R.C.  Plus, you have to have a good eye to keep track of where the Blue Jewel moves to on the island.

The DVD also comes with an advertising insert, that features some of the upcoming Power Rangers Jungle Fury Toys.  To view the insert, click here.

If you're a fan of Operation Overdrive, or just a Power Rangers Fan overall, you'll definitely want to pick up Volume 3.

Special Features -- Ranger Reserve Training Course Level 4 - The Pink Jewel
After viewing the Intro Clip for the Reserve Ranger Training, you begin your training with the help of Spencer and the Rangers.  For this level you're going after the Pink Jewel (Yes, I know the Star of Isis is really the Red Jewel).  First you must answer some more Power Rangers questions, then your ready for the mission.  You have to work your way through various security systems, using Rose's power of invisibility, to get to the end and attain the Pink Jewel.

Linear Ranger's Rating
The fourth Volume in the Operation Overdrive Collection is a must have.  It has "Once A Ranger" on it, and the bonus features continue to be nice added extras.  The Training Game again is challenging, but fun too.  Though I do wish they had gotten things correct with the Star of Isis being the RED Jewel and not the Pink Jewel.

If you're a fan of Operation Overdrive, or just a Power Rangers Fan overall, you'll definitely want to pick up Volume 4.

Special Features -- Ranger Reserve Training Course Level 5 - The Pink Jewel
After viewing the Intro Clip for the Reserve Ranger Training, you begin your training with the help of Spencer and the Rangers.  For this level you're going after the Red Jewel (Yes, I know the Pink Emerald is really the Pink Jewel).  First you must answer some more Power Rangers questions, then your ready for the mission.  For this final mission, you get to control the DriveMax Ultrazord.  You use the different laser blasts & shields to take down monsters from the show.

Linear Ranger's Rating
The finale Volume in the Operation Overdrive Collection is a must have.  It's great to have all 32 episodes on DVD, and this volume tops off the set.  The Training Game again is easier that the previous two, but still fun all the same.  Though I do wish they had gotten things correct with the Pink Emerald being the Pink Jewel and not the Red Jewel.

If you're a fan of Operation Overdrive, or just a Power Rangers Fan overall, you'll definitely want to pick up Volume 5, as well as the entire Operation Overdrive Set.
