I decided I wanted
to go ahead and buy Zuban, just because I like the looks of him in both
modes. Also, I'll explain here why I've put him in with the Deluxe Robos.
Since Zuban stands at the same height as the other Deluxe Robos, and can fight
along side them in the show, I thought it best to put him in this
category.
Zuban may not look like much, since there's not much to show in the pictures, but it really is impressive. In Warrior Mode he stands close to 10 1/2 inches tall. But the one downside to this mode is the lack of poseability. All you can really pose are his arms, and those are even limited due to the springs in the elbows. When you press the button on his side, in Warrior Mode, he goes through various sayings. All of the sayings are based of his name, like "Zuban!" "Ban Ban Ban!" and others.
The sword mode looks very good as well. It's quite easy to change the warrior into his sword mode, and when you mode the oval dial to lock the arms in place, special sounds are made. In it's sword mode, Zuban measures 13 Inches, which is not too bad. When you press the button for sounds, a sword clash sound occurs. The one downside in this mode is the handle. Due to the proportions of Zuban, the handle in sword mode is short and stubby.
Overall, I do highly recommend buying Zuban. He looks good on display with the other Deluxe Robos, and in his sword mode as well. I gave him a four out of five, only due to the lack of poseability and short handle. But he really is a great buy, and with his paint scheme, he really stands out as a great piece.
Also, for those wondering, I purchased this from flip dude & CS Toy Imports, and I HIGHLY recommend them.
