Battlefleet Megazord

Linear Review
The Battlefleet Megazord is a return to how Bandai America should release Megazords.  The Megazord is comprised of the five Zords that the Rangers will gain later in the season, and capable of forming a powerful Battleship.  The Battlefleet Megazord continues the line of Toys R Us Exclusive Megazords.

Each of the five Zords are based off fighter style crafts.  The Red, Blue & Yellow Ranger's Zords are flying types and Pink and Black are ground types.  However, in the show, these Zords mostly stay in morphed in Battleship Mode.

The Battleship Mode is an awesome sight, and is very long.  Plus, this is where the battery operated feature kicks in.  With the flip of a couple of switches, the Battlefleet can roll across the counter top and the antenna on the Red Zord spin around.

When formed together in Megazord Mode, it towers tall as a powerful and strong looking Megazord.  The battery operated feature can be used here too.  By raising the arms to point straight out, and then flipping the switch, the fists of the Megazord will spin around.  This mimics the attack the Battlefleet Megazord uses in the show.

Granted the Battlefleet is missing some small points of paint, it's still a good US version of it's Japanese Counterpart.  However, yes there is a however, thanks to Bandai America's enlarging of the DriveMax Megazord, the DriveMax can not ride on the Battlefleet in Battleship mode.

Overall, the Battlefleet Megazord is a really great Megazord.  It's good to see Bandai America return to using Japanese Moulds for the American Toys.  The Battleship Mode is very impressive, and the Megazord Mode looks like a true tower of power.  The Battery Operated Feature is a nice touch, but it's good that you can turn it off and just push the Battleship along.  Plus, morphing the Zords together to Battleship & then Megazord mode is very easy.  For kids this Megazord will make an excellent toy, and for collectors, this is an excellent alternative to importing from Japan.
