Shift Changer ready for
Change Soul

Linear Review
Moving on, we'll
review the better of the first two Go-Onger Changers; the Shift Changer used by
GoOn Green & GoOn Black.
The Shift Changer is much better than the Go-Phone, and measures about 2 inches thick, 2 1/2 inches wide, and 5 3/4 inches in length.. The wrist mounted gear shift design is very nice & simple. The Shift Changer can be removed from the wrist brace by pressing the small red release button on the ride side of the Shift Changer. The Lever locks into place at about a 50 degree angle. This makes it easier to press the lever up and then activate the sounds. To open the top, you press the red rectangle button on the right of the changer, next to the window area. This opens the Shift Changer allowing you to insert the Change Soul.
The Change Soul again is where everything is. It has all the lights & sounds, where as the Shift Changer itself is just an empty shell. This Change Soul has a metallic looking green back behind the G emblem. The three buttons on the bottom of the Change Soul are how the sounds are activated. Once you place the Change Soul inside the Shift Changer, and latch the top back in place, the general Engine Soul Placement sound plays, and the red light are on the Soul Lights up. This one small red light is all there is for the Change Souls. The remaining sounds are activated as follows:
Change -- Press the Change Lever Up
Birca Honking Sound -- Press left Red Button 1st Time
Gunpherd Honking Sound -- Press left Red Button 2nd time
Carrigator Honking Sound -- Press left Red Button 3rd time
Birca Honking Sound with with Birca Talking After -- Press and Hold the left Red Button 1st Time
Gunpherd Honking Sound with with Gunpherd Talking After -- Press and Hold the the left Red Button 2nd time
Carrigator Honking Sound with with Carrigator Talking After -- Press and Hold the left Red Button 3rd time
Alerting Beep -- Press the right Red Button 1st Time
Alerting Beep -- Press the right Red Button 2nd Time
Alerting Beep -- Press the right Red Button 3rd Time
Alerting Beep with Birca Talking After -- Press and Hold the right Red Button 1st Time
Alerting Beep with Gunpherd Talking After -- Press and Hold the right Red Button 2nd Time
Alerting Beep with Carrigator Talking After -- Press and Hold the right Red Button 3rd Time

Collectors

Collectors will likely enjoy this changer more than the Go-Phone. The wrist mounted design is really what helps it the most. The overall take on a gear shifter is nice. While still only relying on the Change Soul four light & sounds, it's still cool.

I really enjoy the Shift Changer a whole lot more than the Go-Phone. It has a much better design and feel to it. Plus I do just enjoy wrist mounted changers better.
