Evil Grinder with Helmet Mask Removed

Linear Review
Hey look, it's the fall Throttle Max Ranger Red & Evil Grinder.  Funny how I'm only now just finding them at Big Lots & Ross, while I'm also getting new Mighty Morphin toys at Wal-Mart.  And no, I won't be reviewing the other Throttle Max Rangers, just Red.

Let's talk about the Throttle Max Ranger Red.  At the core, it's the Full Throttle Red Ranger with a few changes.  The helmet has peg holes in the side for the helmet armor, the chest emblem is done differently, as is the detailing on the helmet.  He comes with Helmet & Chest Armor, which does look it look pretty good.  He comes with three different weapons.  First is a supped up Street Saber, then the Wheel Blaster from the show, and finally the Rail Blaster from the show.  He's a good figure and has the same poseability as the Full Throttle line.

The Evil Grinder is well done.  His overall look is very nice.  He does not have elbow or knew joints, so his poses are limited.  He comes with the normal Grinder Saber.  And for whatever reason, you can remove the front helmet mask to reveal some purple face.

This line is decent enough, and I'm just happy we got some villain figure.  It's just too bad that you'll have better luck finding them at stores like Big Lots, Ross, Marshalls, TJ Maxx, than normal retailers.

RATINGS
The ratings are based on the following scale:
1 Emblem is Bad
2 Emblems is Poor
3 Emblems is Okay
4 Emblems is Good
5 Emblems is Great

Kids

Kids will probably enjoy the Throttle Max figures enough, since they give the male Rangers extra armor and weapons.  Plus finally having a Grinder will let kids have some sort of villain for the Rangers to fight against.

Collectors

There's not much here to appeal to collectors.  The only real reason to get the Throttle Max Rangers themselves is to get Wheel Blasters & Rail Blasters.  The Rangers with their armor do look nice, but probably not enough to warrant buying them all.  I'd say just pick you favorite male anger and get him in the Throttle Max line.  But Evil Grinder is worth getting for sure.

Linear Ranger

Eh, I'm okay with the Throttle Max Ranger Red.  He looks good enough with his armor.  I still would have been okay had I not found him at Ross.  I am pleased with the Grinder though.  Even though he lacks articulation points, he still looks really good, and I'll be buying multiple of him, if I can find more of it.
