Green Ranger Posed on
Display Stand

Linear Review
Ah, the Super Legends
Line continues, and we get another Green Ranger figure, but this time
bigger. The Super Legends Extreme Figures are targeted towards the Adult
Collectors, thus the Display Stand and $15 to $16 price tag. But for the
collector these are worth it.
The Green Ranger is 7.5 Inches tall and very detailed. First, the look of the figure is different from the normal 5 inch figures. The texture and color of the suit gives it a more realistic look. There are no muscles on the figure, that is to say, it doesn't look like it has any obviously out of place arm, leg, or abdominal muscles. The paint detailing is very nice, and is mostly complete. The helmet is missing silver paint for the teeth of the dragon mouth. And the Power Morpher is missing detailing to show the Dragon Coin. I find this odd, since the smaller 5 Inch Super Legends figure from last year had the details that showed the Dragon Coin, but this larger figure doesn't. The Shield is molded on and cannot be removed, which really is not a problem since Tommy always had the shield for all but a few episodes. The Dragon Dagger is painted somewhat. It is mostly black, with some gold paint added in some spots.
Now to how poseable this figure is. Gone are the joints from the 5 inch figures. The Super Legends Extreme Figures have a system of joints to make them look more human and realistic. These new joints really don't seem to limit the poses you can put the figure into either. The Dragon Dagger has a peg on it, that the Green Ranger's right hand is able to hold it with. You can't really get the exact pose of the Green Ranger playing the Dragon Dagger. It's more like a pose of him holding it out, ready to play it. The hands of the figure look a bit odd without anything in them, thus proving that this figure is meant to be posed with the Dragon Dagger.
The Display Stand is much better than those in the Retrofire Megazord Figures. These stands seem much stronger, and are adjustable. The peg that goes into the Ranger's back, can be snapped up or down, to make the figure look like it's leaning forward or backward.

Kids

This Green Ranger figure really isn't for kids. I know some kids may know who the Green Ranger is, thanks to Tommy being in Dino Thunder, but this figure is meant for the collectors. It doesn't have much playability, and it's more for display.
Collectors

This is a really good Green Ranger figure to have. The price is a bit high, but when you really stop to look at how real the colors & textures appear, its worth it. The details on the Power Morpher should have been done better, and it would have been nice if you could do the exact Dragon Dagger Playing Pose. But this figure is still a very nice addition to any collectors collection.

I really love this figure. I really wish all basic figures were 7.5 inches tall and done like this, but I know that would not be cost effective, and parents couldn't afford to buy 5 Rangers at $15 each. I think the job Bandai America did on this figure is great, even with the very small imperfections, it's a great toy, and I'm glad I bought it.
