Linear Review
Ah, the Super Legends Line continues, and we get some larger RPM Figures.  The Super Legends Extreme Figures are targeted towards the Adult Collectors, thus the Display Stand and $15 to $16 price tag.  But for the collector these are worth it.

The RPM Red Eagle Ranger is 7.5 Inches tall and very detailed.  First, the look of the figure is different from the normal 5 inch figures.  The texture and color of the suit gives it a more realistic look.  The Red isn't the bright shinny red we're use to.  It's more of a maroon kind of red.  There are no muscles on the figure, that is to say, it doesn't look like it has any obviously out of place arm, leg, or abdominal muscles.  The paint detailing is very nice, and as far as I can tell, all the details are there.   The Nitro Blaster & Street Saber are both painted excellently, adding to the realism for the figure.

Now to how poseable this figure is.  Gone are the joints from the 5 inch figures.  The Super Legends Extreme Figures have a system of joints to make them look more human and realistic.  These new joints really don't seem to limit the poses you can put the figure into either.  The hands of the figure look  extremely odd without anything in them, thus proving that this figure is meant to be posed with the weapons.  The Nitro Blaster can be held by the figure easily.  The Street Saber is a bit more difficult.  It's obvious that if you want the figure to hold the Street Saber, that he's meant to hold it with both hands, in an attack ready kind of pose.  Or with the sword pointed towards the ground.  It can be held in just the right hand, but you have to position it just right, otherwise it'll fall out.

The Display Stand is much better than those in the Retrofire Megazord Figures.  These stands seem much stronger, and are adjustable.  The peg that goes into the Ranger's back, can be snapped up or down, to make the figure look like it's leaning forward or backward.

Kids

Kids may enjoy the RPM Red Eagle Ranger (or other Super Legends Extreme RPM Rangers) more than the Mighty Morphin Green Ranger, simply because they see these Rangers on TV.  But again, these figures are meant for the collector, and don't have that much playability.

Collectors

I know collectors aren't that into collectible figures being made of the current Rangers, but this Red Ranger isn't too bad.  I think if collectors enjoy RPM, then they may to pick up either the Red Ranger, or their favorite male Ranger, should they be made in the form.

Linear Ranger

I'm pleased with the Red Eagle Ranger.  I should note here that I did not buy the Black Wolf Ranger, and will not be buying any other Extreme RPM Figures.  Since the girls will not be made in this assortment, there's no need for me to purchase all the male RPM Extreme Rangers.  Now, I like the realism in this figure.  I do wish the figure you hold the Street Saber in one hand more easily.  But I do think this was a good addition to my personal collection.
