September 30, 2013:

The Power Rangers Super Samurai “A Christmas Wish” is coming Tuesday, October 8th. The holiday themed release should cost about $10 to $15. Here is a full breakdown of the DVD.

-The DVD comes packaged in O-card packaging.

-The DVD features three Power Rangers holiday episodes

-The feature is presented in 16x9 Widescreen 1.78:1

POWER RANGERS SUPER SAMURAI “A CHRISTMAS WISH”

Morph into the holiday season with Power Rangers Super Samurai: A Christmas Wish, arriving on DVD and Digital Download October 8 from Lionsgate Home Entertainment. The all-new holiday release features a collection of festive Ranger adventures including “Super Samurai Stuck on Christmas” and fan-favorite classic episodes “Mighty Morphin Forever Friends” and “Mighty Morphin Alpha’s Magical Christmas.”

-Contains Episodes:

     --Super Samurai “Stuck on Christmas”

     --Mighty Morphin “Alpha’s Magical Christmas”

     --Mighty Morphin “Forever Friends”

All four episodes are in standard DVD quality. But of course the Mighty Morphin episodes do have their usual lower quality, due to them being filmed in the 90’s, before the days of HD and digital quality.

-Contains Bonus Features:

     --Mega Bloks Holiday Toymation

Another bonus feature comes from a YouTube video. I wish there were some original bonus for the DVD, but it doesn’t detract much from the DVD. Unlike the Megaforce DVD, there is no extra download flyer for you to get digital copies of the episodes.

Overall, this is a good stocking stuffer DVD for kids. It’s something fun for them to watch on Christmas morning while they’re playing with their new Power Rangers toys.
